A little information about our group.
Welcome to the Carmarthen Spinners, Weavers and Dyers Group
which
meets at Newchurch Community Hall
at 10.00am and ending around 3.00pm on the first Saturday of the month.
There is car parking available.
Our activities include all that are mentioned in our title plus many
others,
such as felting, knitting and crochet and of course choosing
and the
preparation of raw fleece.
Our members also practice a wide range of associated crafts
including tapestry, embroidery and needlework.
Prospective members may visit us at the Newchurch Community Hall
on the first Saturday of any month

New members are extremely welcome.
We are a very social and happy group whose ages range from 20's to 80's.
Every April some members go to 'Wonder Wool Wales'
at the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells, one of the
biggest fibre fairs in Britain.
CSWD were again delighted to attend Llandovery Sheep Festival 2023
and to meet and explore
wool craft with so many people, visitors, stall holders
and of course the sheep!
